Arrive at Bodhgaya, meet and assistance by Geanis World Travels Executive. Transfer to hotel. Afternoon visit to Mahabodhi Temple. (This is the place where Lord Sakyamuni (Gautam Buddha) entered into meditation after being moved by the sufferings of mankind. The giant Bodhi Tree (Peepal) that we see today is believed to have grown from the original Bodhi Tree ). Also visit the International Temple and 80 foot Buddha statue. Overnight at hotel.
Morning breakfast and transfer to visit Nalanda and Rajgir. (Nalanda, a great center of Buddhist learning and one of the most famed university citadels of ancient times. Rajgir, it was once the ancient capital of the powerful Kingdom of Maghada. From the out-skirts of Rajgir, a historic road leads to Gridhakuta or vultures peak where the Buddha preached. Here the first Buddhist Council was held after the Lord's Mahaparinirvana). Return back to Bodhgaya. Overnight at hotel.
Morning breakfast and drive to Varanasi. On arrival check in at hotel. Later proceed to visit Sarnath and return back in the evening. Overnight at hotel.
Early morning proceed to the holy river of Ganges to enjoy the Boat Ride at sunrise and return back to hotel. After breakfast proceed for the Varanasi Temple. After lunch, transfer to Kushinagar. Overnight at hotel.
Morning proceed to visit Kushinagar. (The monuments of Kushinagar are situated in three distinct parts comprising of the main site of the Nirvana Temple, the central Stupa and the surrounding monasteries.) Later drive to Lumbini. Overnight at hotel.
Morning breakfast and proceed to visit Lumbini in Nepal. (Lumbini is where the Queen Mahamaya gave birth to Prince Siddhartha who later became the Buddha. About 2000 years ago Emperor Ashoka set up a commemorative pillar here. The pillar carries the inscription – "Here the Buddha was born". Another shrine preserves an ancient image depicting the nativity of the Lord.) Visit the International Temple and after lunch drive to Sarasvati. Over night at hotel.
Morning visit to Sarasvati, a sacred city for Buddhists. (Buddha himself spent many summers here to deliver important sermons. Here Anathapindika was built in the garden of Prince Jeta for the reception of the Buddha). Visit the Ungli Mar Caves. Transfers to Lucknow and dinner at City restaurants. Proceed for the Railway Station to board train to Agra. Overnight at train.
Morning transfer from Railway Station to hotel for breakfast, wash and change . Later proceed to visit Taj Mahal ( 7th Wonder of the World ) and Agra Fort. Drive to Delhi and on the way visit Sikandra. Overnight at hotel.
Morning after breakfast proceed to visit Delhi City tour. (Qutub Minar built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1199, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate and Lakshminarayan Temple - a modern Hindu Temple. Also drive past President's House, Parliament House, Government Secretariat Buildings and Connaught Place). Evening proceed for the Airport for onward destination.
